BEYOND'S falling film evaporators are specially designed to obtain high quality concentrated juice, whey, pharmaceutical liquids and other heat sensitive materials. The evaporator operates under vacuum and low temperature, which is the key factor in maintaining the organoleptic properties of the processed products. The multiple effects design allows energy savings thus reducing operating costs.
In falling film evaporators, liquid and vapors flow downwards in parallel flow. The liquid to be concentrated is preheated to boiling temperature. An even thin film enters the heating tubes via a distribution device in the head of the evaporator, flows downward at boiling temperature, and is partially evaporated. This gravity-induced downward movement is increasingly augmented by the co-current vapor flow.

Falling film evaporator is composed of (first effect, second effect and third effect) separator, evaporator and preheater, condenser and vacuum pump, feed pump, circulating pump, discharge pump, condensate pump, pipeline and accessories, equipped with CIP spray cleaning ball, vacuum gauge, thermometer, pressure gauge, etc.

Characteristics of falling film evaporator
Evaporation capacity: from 500kg / h to 80t / h.
It can also be used together with forced circulation evaporator and crystallizer to deal with the concentration of high viscosity and easy scaling materials and product crystallization.
It has the characteristics of high heat conduction efficiency and low power consumption.
It can widely use waste heat (such as hot air and flue gas of dryer) and waste heat (condensate, process water and flash steam) to form waste heat evaporation unit.
Large concentration ratio: falling film evaporation is adopted to make the liquid with high viscosity easy to flow and evaporate, not easy to scale, short concentration time, and the concentration ratio can reach 1:5.
